Paper template, painter’s tape, a level, center punch or nail, power drill with bit slightly larger than studs
Use the painter’s tape to hang the template.
Use a level to put your mounting template straight on the surface and tape in place. This is a great time to stand back and double check the spelling, spacing and alignment
Use a center punch or nail to mark the stud placement on the mounting surface.
Take down the template. It’s a good idea to keep the mounting template in case you need to install the lettering again at a different location.
Drill all the holes that were marked on the wall.
