Manufacture

McCarthy Signs have invested in the latest, state-of-the-art machinery that allows us to produce prints and signage on a wide variety of materials to the highest possible standard.

This includes:

  • Large format Roland printers which produce a highly professional finish using eco-friendly inks and will print at 1440 dpi (high resolution) to Pantone matched colours.
  • High performance plotters which produce unparalleled results.
  • The CNC router can contour cut, router and crease meaning the possibilities for bespoke signage are endless.
  • A wide range of finishing equipment including hot laminating machines, acrylic bending machinery and flame polishers to ensure your signage is fabricated and finished to excellent standards.
  • Following approval of inspired designs, it’s time to bring your signs to life. McCarthy Signs believe quality production is what distinguishes the average deliverable from the excellent. Poor manufacturing will stand out above any and all messaging, which is why we invest such time and care.

Our range of cutting-edge tools is only half the equation. They facilitate large format printing and high fidelity, but it takes a master craftsperson to use them, then bring the individual parts together. Refined over years, the skills of our production team are second to none. We’ll handle simpler sign productions such as acrylic panels with unparalleled efficiency. Other available products, like stand-off 3D signage, demand a level of skill that’s not easy to come by.

Materials are another key piece of the sign-making puzzle. Ours are chosen with premium quality and longevity in mind. It’s just one assurance of many that you’ll receive the very best results.

Installation

McCarthy Signs create custom signs with installation already in mind.

With certain products, such as post & pillar signs or projection & hanging signs, an assessment of your space may have been conducted earlier in the process. Regardless of signage type, our installation team will complete the maximum assembly possible in-house, leading to increased efficiency on-site.

Remaining minimally impactful is important to us. Inside your premises, we’re mindful of noise and obstructions. Many of our products allow for silent application, achieved much faster than methods like painting. Vinyl and hard signage also lacks the harmful fumes or chemicals that might otherwise delay entry to the space.

You’ll be informed of any access requirements well in advance. As a health & safety certified company, we can work safely at height and arrange for a scaffold tower on your behalf, if required. McCarthy Signs is also Safe-Contractor Accredited, offering further assurance of our health and safety competence.

From site meetings and surveys to installation of all types of signage and graphics, our highly skilled installation teams are equipped to deal with all types of projects. From one-off contracts to multi-site re-brands. Our clients put trust in us to complete and carry out all types of high-profile projects to the highest of standards.
