Window Manifestations

DDA safety requirements say that glass screens (both M1 and M2) must have a manifestation such as a logo or sign on the glass that can be easily seen and that contrasts strongly with the view through the glass in all lighting conditions. It must be on the glass at two levels: 850 to 1000mm and 1400-1600mm.

The manifestation must be at least 150mm high and include a decorative feature (for example, continuous bands or broken lines) a minimum of 50mm high.

While this is a safety requirement, it also offers you the opportunity to display your logo or another creative design.

Here at McCarthy Signs , we can advise you on how to put together your design or turn your logo into a glass film graphic.
